In order to create awareness and derive action measures, the resource consumption and efficiency of existing buildings will be analysed.

First of all, consumption data of the buildings must be collected and target values defined. From an analysis, measures can then be derived that have the greatest influence on resource consumption.

The results should then be communicated as widely as possible so that the entire university community develops an awareness of the university's resource consumption. Existing TU screens or infrastructure can possibly be used for this purpose. The collected data should also be published on the homepage or in a report form. After the initial project, the monitoring should be made permanent and the resource consumption recorded annually.

This project idea was developed during the 'Campus of the Future' workshop at the end of September 2021.
