Das Nachhaltigkeitsbüro führt eine Umfrage durch, wie Studierende und Mitarbeitende täglich zum Campus pendeln.

How do you get to the university? Maybe by bike, car or S-Bahn? Every day, or three times a week?

The Sustainability Office of the university is currently working on a report on sustainability at TU Dortmund University. For this, the topic of mobility is also of more interest. In order to understand the current state of daily mobility, the Sustainability Office is now launching a survey on the daily commuting behaviour of all university members. Everyone is invited to take part in the survey in order to obtain a representative sample of around 3000 responses. The survey asks, for example, how long the daily commute  takes, which means of transport are used for it or how many days per week one commutes to the university.

Among other things, the data will be used to determine an initial estimate of the generated greenhouse gas emissions by daily transportation.

All university members can participate until 10 February 2023. The survey takes 10-15 minutes. The survey is provided in english and german.
