TU internal lectures:
Two basic modules for the studium oecologicum will be offered in the coming summer semester:
The "Summer School for Sustainability", which won the teaching award in 2024, is entering its second round and will be offered as a 5-day block event from 08-12.09.2025 with 3 CP as an English-language basic module. The Summer School is a collaboration between various institutions and members of TU Dortmund University and aims to raise awareness of sustainability. Participants will be equipped with the skills needed to make effective decisions in terms of sustainability in a professional and personal context. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) are used as a basis. The participants deal with these topics in an interactive and interdisciplinary way. Impressions of the last Summer School can be found in our previous news article. Registration is now open until 07.09.2025 in the LSF.
For the first time, the semester-accompanying seminar "Nachhaltigkeit selber machen: Wir gestalten unser Studium der Zukunft!" is being offered by students for students with 3-4 CP as a basic module for the studium oecologicum. Every Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. (c.t.), participants have the opportunity to actively tackle sustainability in their studies and put it into practice. In this interdisciplinary seminar, they deal with what their own studies should look like in the future. The focus is on implementation in the form of their own projects, which take a practical approach to shaping their own studies. It is not necessary to have your own project ideas, but you are welcome to bring them along if you have them. Registration is now open until 13.04.2025 in the LSF.
Many other exciting events that are open to the studium oecologicum can be found in the LSF.
