New courses for the studium oecolgoicum

The studium oecologicum module catalog for the summer semester 2024 is now available. There you will find courses of the TU Dortmund University divided into the basic module and the five subject areas of the studium oecologicum as well as cooperation offers. Please note further information on requirements for the selected courses in the LSF.

The basic module in the summer semester is the seminar "Transformative Bildung an der Hochschule. TU-Campus als Ort sozial-ökologischer Transformation?" is offered as a basic module in the summer semester, in which participants deal intensively with socio-ecological transformation processes and get closer to the topic through creative, open and networked learning. Furthermore, we are working on an English-language basic module in the form of a summer school entitled "summer school sustainabiltiy - learning global and local sustainability through collaboration", which will be offered during the summer semester break. Further information will follow.

The module catalog also includes cooperation offers outside TU Dortmund University. TU Berlin offers a hybrid seminar with 6 CP on the topic of "Nachhaltigkeit demokratisieren und Demokratie dauerhaft stärken" with a presence block week in Berlin from 13-17 May and other individual online dates. The course can be counted towards the studium oecologicum in the subject area "Society" and the registration deadline is March 15, 2024. Re-registration is expected to take place on March 18, 2024. The sustainability initiative of the universities of NRW Humboldtⁿ offers a lecture series on the topic "Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf die physische und mentale Gesundheit" with 3 CP. The course also counts towards the studium oecologicum in the subject area "Society" and the registration deadline is April 8, 2024. The University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) is also reopening its course catalog for the "Certificate in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)". The courses of the UDE certificate can be credited for the studium oecologicum. The courses can be assigned to the subject areas of the studium oecologicum.
