Raised beds are to be built for the campus and placed in prominent locations. TU members are then cordially invited to use them.

Time and again, the desire for a greener campus becomes clear. The TU can be more than just a place to work, study and research: it can be a colourful living space that invites you to linger, relax and network. To get one step closer to this goal, as many raised beds as possible are to be installed this year.

They should be built as sustainably as possible and, where possible, from existing materials. The idea is to make it a community project: Anyone who has water left in their water bottle can quickly water the flowers or herbs on the way to the next lecture. If hunger drives you to the cafeteria, you can snack on a few tomatoes as you pass by. It is also conceivable that, for example, a small group is responsible for its own raised bed and can let off steam creatively.

The raised-bed locations should also invite people to get to know each other, to network and to exchange ideas about sustainability.
