From now on, there is a box in the sustainability office where cell phones, smartphones and tablets that are no longer used are collected and subsequently recycled.

Technology contains many valuable and rare resources that can be recycled. As of now, the Sustainability Office is taking part in a NABU campaign. The collection box is located in the office at Vogelpothsweg 74.

Cell phones, smartphones or tablets are accepted - along with accessories (power supply, charging cable, battery, headset). The condition of the devices does not matter: both functional and defective devices can be handed in.

When the box is full, the Sustainability Office sends it to NABU's recycling partner AfB.

For the collected cell phones, Telefonica donates a fixed sum to NABU each year, which goes into the NABU insect protection fund.

Further opportunities for recycling materials can be found in the collection points section of our website.
